The Gauss Contests are an opportunity for students to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem solving ability. Doing well on the Gauss Contest can help gain admission to IB program and build students' confidence.

Audience: All students in Grades 7 and 8 or below and interested students from lower grades.

• 25 multiple-choice questions

• 60 minutes

• 150 total marks

Contest Preparation

We strongly suggest that students join our Gauss Math Contest Prep Class. Our class is composed of Intensive 20-hous sessions which will focus on the most common questions  and the most  challenging questions, get familiar with the latest Gauss questions types and how to answer these questions in the tight timeline. It will help students to develop a deeper rooted understanding of methodologies in the Gauss Math Contest and maximize the student’s chances of succeeding in Gauss Math Contest in the shortest time.
